A prelude to fall.
After a surprisingly productive August we are looking forward to a super fall of fishing! August produced some exciting catches of a variety of fish. Our trolling trips had a good mix of mahi mahi offshore and plenty of big spanish mackerel nearshore, the king bite should kick back off with the cooling temperatures. The bottom fishing has been great with grouper, sea bass, snapper, and other tasty bottom dwellers finding the way into the box. The shark fishing is getting hotter, Capt John has had sharks up to 9′, and the best is yet to come! We have also been doing some inshore fishing for flounder, drum and trout all hitting well.
