Big Topsail spanish mackerel, King mackerel here too!
Well our fishing really picked up this past week! We had king mackerel, spanish mackerel, one weighed in at 7+lbs! Also there have been mahi mahi caught in the 10-15 mile range, and cobia are being seen and taken from the inlets out to the king mackerel ground, the good fishing is now! Shep with his first king mackerel. The battle was touch and go for a while, we did not know if the angler or the fish was going to go first! Shep prevailed and won what we were calling the "celebrity death match".
