Topsail Beach

Not only is it late July but the report is late also. Busy fishing plus busy season equals less time on computer, but plenty of time on the water!
We have been catching a wide variety of fish lately, from large sharks to decent sized kings, nice sized spanish mackerel and blues, a few mahi mahi [...]

Boy has it been hot, I think you could at least soft fry an egg on the pavement! With the rising temperatures has also brought a rush of our summer fish in. The mahi mahi have been showing up regularly in our catches, a bunch of bailer sized ones with a gaffer mixed in here [...]

  The bite has been great! Me and Captain John have been finding our clients king mackerel, spanish mackerel, mahi mahi, snapper, grouper, and big sharks. We have been having consistent action on all trips. This is one of those reports where the pictures tell a better story then I can!
 
 
 

Well our fishing really picked up this past week!  We had king mackerel, spanish mackerel, one weighed in at 7+lbs! Well Captain John found them today and we are happy to see them. Fishing off Topsail thismorning Captain John guided Jim Pierce and Tim Sobkowiak to a successful first saltwater trip.
