Okay, after some of the coldest weather right after the wettest December in over 130 years we are still fishing! December was pretty much a bust with maybe 3 fishable days but here in mid-January we have seen the temperatures rise a bit and the fishing has rebounded along with it!

Now is the time to fish at Topsail! Fall is here, the weather is cooling the water is cooling, the fishing is red hot! All the species are here, the spanish mackerel are big and fat and biting real well, the kings are consistent on both live and dead bait, we had fish to 30lbs [...]
