Mack attack! Groupers!

¬†We have been catching steady since the last report, the water has been clearing up, and good things are on the horizon. We have been picking at the kings the last 2 weeks in 60-70 ft of water, drone spoons have been working best, a few fish on the light line and on dead bait. The spanish bite has been real good, a lot of pretty fish in the 15″ – 18″ range with a few 2-4 lbers in the mix. The bottom fishing has been picking up coming off the full moon, the groupers have been biting a little better further offshore, but we are getting some fish in the 10-15 mile range, just bunches of black bass in there (they open soon!). The flounders have been biting on the reefs, nice fish, mostly keepers.

It looks to be lining up to be a good season with the variety of species available. Hope to see you soon!

Tight lines,

Captain Jim
