Topsail fall fishing is red hot!

Now is the time to fish at Topsail! Fall is here, the weather is cooling the water is cooling, the fishing is red hot! All the species are here, the spanish mackerel are big and fat and biting real well, the kings are consistent on both live and dead bait, we had fish to 30lbs last week only 5 miles offshore. The grouper bite is at it’s best and do not miss out, Dec 31 it closes til April 2010, gag grouper are in close and reds and scamps are available on full day trips. Sea bass, snapper, grey trout are all biting nearshore on both dead bait and jigs. Flounder, trout, and drum all find the cooling temperatures to their liking making for some great inshore fishing days. And finally false albacore are here and making blazing runs on both spin and fly casting tackle these fish can be up to 20lbs at this time of the year and we find them thick some days. Here are some pictures from recent trips!
